Article Processing Charges (APCs)

The Charmo Journal of Natural Sciences and Technologies (CJNST) is an open-access journal committed to making scientific research freely available to readers worldwide. To support the costs of editorial handling, peer review, professional typesetting, archiving, and online hosting, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied only after a manuscript is formally accepted for publication.

APC Policy

  • Submission is free of charge. There are no fees for manuscript submission or initial review.
  • APCs are only applicable after peer review and editorial acceptance.

International authors

$190 USD

There are no additional fees for:

  • Color figures
  • Supplementary files
  • Reasonable article length

Waiver & Discount Policy

CJNST recognizes that some authors may face financial constraints. The journal offers partial or full APC waivers in the following cases:

  • Authors from low-income countries
  • Early-career researchers with no institutional funding
  • Exceptional scientific contributions

Requests for waivers or discounts must be submitted at the time of initial submission, accompanied by a justification. All requests will be considered confidentially and decided by the Editorial Board.

 

Payment Instructions

Once a manuscript is accepted, authors will receive an official invoice and payment instructions. Payment must be completed before final publication.

Authors may choose one of the following payment methods:

1. Local Cash Payment
Available for authors in Iraq. Payment can be made in cash at:
Finance Department, Presidency of Charmo University, Chamchamal, Iraq.

2. Bank Transfer (Local & International)
Payments can also be made through the First Iraqi Bank (FIB).
Full account details, including beneficiary name, account number, and transfer instructions, will be provided in the invoice upon acceptance.
